Placing women in 50% of our searches attests to our hard work to pro-actively search for diverse candidates. This also extends to diversity of thinking, race and sexuality.
As a standard part of every Search process we undertake, we look to provide a Shortlist of candidates with as close to a 50/50 gender mix as possible.
Our success has been enabled by:
- Our recognition that making diverse hires is not just about having a variety of candidates on a short list but includes working with clients and candidates to ensure that individual needs are met.
- Positively encouraging interest form diverse candidates who may not have been involved in executive search processes before, but who our consultants know are equipped with the skills, talent and experience to excel in a specific role and organisation.
- Having a willingness to discuss with our clients clear diversity targets for their organisation and to develop plans to increase the pool of diverse candidates in their organisation, and thus the industry.
- Where appropriate, paying attention to the skills and talent of diverse candidates as opposed to focusing too much on specific professional experiences.
